MILAN, October 20th, 2023 – Hevolus, international leader in eXtended Reality and Artificial Intelligence technologies applied to all business processes, announces the appointment of Marcello Marchetti as new CTO. In the role, Marchetti will have the responsibility of leading the group working on the evolution of Hevolus' technological solutions and offering and will report to Fabio Santini, CEO of the company.

Marcello Marchetti has over 25 years of experience in the software and development industry. After creating Easy Transport, a vertical product currently the market leader in Italy, he began working on the development of videogames. In 2015 he joined Microsoft as a Technical Evangelist, then covering roles such as Cloud Architect and Technology Strategist and finally becoming Technical Lead of the Partner division. Marchetti was a point of reference for Microsoft in the EMEA region in the Extended Reality and Hololens fields, and developed an application preloaded on all Hololens v1.

Over the years, he has combined his interest in Italian indie studios with training activities for the new generations, carrying out events dedicated to the development of videogames and gamification.
