Hevolus and Würth Italia win the Smau 2021 Innovation Award



Würth Italia and Hevolus Innovation win the SMAU 2021 Innovation Award

for the Wüdesto Hydro project,

which applies augmented reality to the bathroom and sanitaryware sector.


A pioneering solution for the thermo-sanitary sector, Wudesto Hydro is a virtual showroom that exploits the potential of augmented reality to ensure an emotional customer experience applied to the world of bathroom furnishings.


Wearing Microsoft HoloLens 2 viewers or using common portable devices, the customer can view the 3D project of their bathroom furniture both in the store and at home, by clicking on a simple link.


You can easily interact with the digital twin that reproduces the designed environment in very high definition.



Shapes, colors, materials, bathroom fixtures and accessories: all hyper-realistic and full-scale, as if it were already made.


Rosanna Scaramuzzo, CEO Executive Assistant of Würth Italia, and Antonio Squeo, CIO of Hevolus Innovation, received the Award.

Wüdesto Hydro in Würth is already available for all customers in the first virtual showroom in the sector, which was inaugurated at the Würth Hydro Store in Marlengo, in the province of Bolzano.
