Hevolus brings the shopping experience of the future to every device

Hevolus helps companies of all sizes create their own metaverses and design immersive shopping experiences.

10 May 2024 - Hevolus, between international leaders in eXtended Reality and generative AI technologies, has been included on the blog Snapdragon Spaces™ with a success story dedicated to H-Store solution. Hevolus is theonly Italian company to be present with its solutions on the Snapdragon Spaces blog.

The story published on the Snapdragon Spaces blog explains how with H-Store it is possible to answer to a need common to every company that sells products and has to deal with physical space constraints and high warehousing and display costs and that can now create a shop or showroom in which to display their products – in variations of color, texture and size – without space constraints.

"We wanted to feature H-Store on our blog to show how Hevolus has used Snapdragon Spaces to facilitate access to this innovative solution,” said Steve Lukas, Director, Product Management at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “The solution created with the integration of our technology lays the foundation for a change in the habits of consumers and businesses around the world, and does so by enabling the creation of experiences that are immersive, interactive and easily accessible.".

H-Store is one of the products of the H-Verse suite, which also includes H-Share (Content Management System), H-Prototype (production), H-Onboarding and H-Collaboration (human resources), H-Fair (sales) and H-Maintenance (post-sales), solutions designed to be applied in different sectors such as fashion, retail, manufacturing and automotive. It is a product designed to create phygital experiences based on generative artificial intelligence and eXtended Reality, thanks to which each company can create its own spaces in which to offer immersive, interactive, inclusive and accessible purchasing experiences – via the web and with any type of device.

"“The power of eXtended Reality lies in the speed with which we can enable our customers to see a store they had only imagined until now, with their own eyes, in a familiar environment,” said Fabio Santini, CEO of Hevolus. “The integration of Snapdragon Spaces into our H-Store platform provides the technological foundation that allows us to seamlessly connect virtual and augmented reality, with the ability to move from virtual reality to the integration of digital elements with the physical world for a better in-store experience of the future. Snapdragon Spaces has been instrumental in enabling us to transform abstract concepts into tangible experiences, making the unlimited potential of XR accessible to everyone.”".

H-Store, in particular, is designed to build detailed exhibition and production layouts with established design flows. Architects, designers, and planners can then visualize these layouts as if they were real and life-size in the real environment in which they will be installed, in high resolution and highly detailed in a range of shapes, colors, and materials. Customer benefits include reduced environmental impact, the opportunity for virtual walkthroughs, and cost savings in the design and testing phases. In the H-Store shop, you can add products to the virtual space Using drag-and-drop tools and choosing from 3D models, images, and videos, you can create a never-ending showroom and private spaces where the shopping experience is shared between customers, staff, friends, and family.

THEcommitment of Hevolus and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. This led to the addition of Snapdragon Spaces to the Unity-based Hevolus development tools and enables several important goals, starting with the ability to use pass-through cameras to enable XR scenarios such as anchoring holograms to real-world environments. For H-Store, it is possible to use not only PCs, smartphones or tablets but also headsets such as the Lenovo ThinkReality VRX and Lenovo ThinkReality A3, devices supported by the Snapdragon Spaces SDK, which enables developers to create immersive experiences thanks to an open, cross-device, horizontal platform and ecosystem.
